The idea for Toolbox came from conversations we’ve had with construction teams.
They needed a quick, informal way to communicate with their stakeholders, upload
files and plan work whilst maintaining a history of events.
Toolbox was built from the ground up to give small and large teams alike the ability to
collaborate, upload and version files which can be rapidly organised with customised tags and folders.
The problem of uploading large sized files and large quantities of files was tackled by integrating
the Yahoo Browser Plus extention. Free to install this application has some powerful features – drag
and drop files from the desktop and compress files before the upload process begins. Our users love the
drag and drop, and compressed files saves bandwidth and increases performance.
Any communication required with members external to the toolbox team is managed and tracked with the
file package maker.
